Maintenance Mechanic
We're looking for Maintenance Mechanics for our client in the Closter, NJ area.
Earn up to $40/HR in a fast paced environment, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment.
This is a full-time position with opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment in the facilities in a timely manner with minimal or no supervision Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all safety procedures and PPE requirements Check equipment to ensure jobs are complete Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as assigned Perform electrical troubleshooting, check voltage and amperage on motors and pumps Rebuild pumps, motors, rotation equipment and valves Work with speed and precision to meet deadlines Act in a professional and respectful manner Work on and assist with other repairs as needed Key Requirements:
License in one of the following areas is preferred but not mandatory:
HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing HS Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of industrial maintenance, electrical experience, controls and PLC experience English is the preferred language; Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, as well as have the ability to write simple correspondence and complete documentation completely in a timely manner Able to present information to peers or supervisors Ability to perform basic math skills as well as read and use measuring devices Basic computer skills Able to perform job duties with minimal or no supervision General knowledge of all hand tools needed to complete assigned tasks General knowledge of various power tools and the ability to use them in a safe manner Able to perform electrical troubleshooting such as checking voltage and amperage on motors and pumps Able to perform basic plumbing and fitting of PVC, steel and ductile pipe Able to perform basic welding Able to lift up to 100 lbs Able to climb, crawl, stoop, reach, grasp and stand for periods of time Visual acuity, hearing and speech If you're ready to join the team, apply now and start work fast!Speak to a Recruiter Right Now!
